Title: "Blind" 5440B
Post by: scottbp on 06-18-2008 -- 09:40:51
We still use our old Fluke 5440B DC volts calibrator for some applications, but the display has gotten so dim over the years we have to turn the lights off in the lab to see it. Does anyone know of a replacement vacuum fluorescent (or LED or LCD) display for these units?  :?

Do what we used to do in the corps to see the rise time on oscopes. Take a piece of cardboard cut it about 4 inches wide and long enough to cover above the display on three sides. Tape it in place a viola instant cave.
