Title: FEMS
Post by: flamy78 on 12-22-2004 -- 20:26:28
First let me say to Jesse: feel free to move this to general if you want.

Is anybody here able to answer questions on FEMS? From what I've been told its an old system like PAMS but its what the ALC's use.  :!:

I work at Robins Type IIA, FEMS is not that old.  It was developed by Lockheed Marietta around 1998 or so.  Since I have never had the opportunity to use PAMS, this and manually entering maintenance data is all I know.  But, I can tell you that FEMS is not very user friendly from a PMEL point of view.  It was developed as an overall Facilities and Equipment Management System.  So it is not strictly for PMEL.
