I worked for Stu at Bell/Sypris and at Davis.  He, Craig Fink and I built the first Davis lab on the west coast- literally, framed, wired, drywalled, plastered carpetedblahblahblah. That old man could work anybody into the ground, and do it with a smile.  I have a scar on my finger from where he "helped" me get it unstuck!  :D  I'm gonna miss his wit.

He said to me years ago "Making no decsion is the worst decision you could make.  Make your choice and move to your goal.  I'll have your back good or bad, but if you do nothing, you are indefensible."
Later he told me "You'd be amazed how smart you look when you keep someone from making the same mistake you did before."

Words to live by.  Gonna miss the Big Boss.  Godspeed, Stu.

I worked for Stu back in the '80s and '90s.  He was a big personality.  I got to see both his business and family side.  He enjoyed his family.  He embraced decorating for Christmas like nobody else I know.  He told me once that he had to have his electrical service upgraded to handle the power drain from his decorations.

He'll be missed. . .
