Probably no takers on this, but I have to give it a shot, anyway. I have a Tektronix TLA721 mainframe, which is basically like a VXI mainframe with some apparently proprietary alterations. Instead of a communication card (such as an HP E1406A, etc.) it has an onboard computer in the first few slots. So, I have some Tektronix TVS621 waveform analyzer (oscilloscope) cards I am trying to calibrate. I've tried installing them in regular VXI mainframe (I'm using an NI VXI-1000) with an HP E1406A communications card. I have Agilent IO Suite 16 on the computer, and got it all set up and can see the TVS621 card via GPIB (using an NI PCI-GPIB). What I can't get is an oscilloscope soft front panel. There are labview drivers but they will only install with Win 95 or Win NT (my modern Win 7 computer won't install them). Anyone have experience with any of the above. Making me a little crazy.
Hawaii,
We have a MET/CAL Procedure for those VXI scopes.
You need a Fluke 5500 or 5520, 34401 and E1406 to run it.
If you can't get the soft front panel drop me a line.
Mike.
I just emailed you about it. Can you send me a soft panel as well? You can send it to the email address I sent from.
I don't have a soft-panel for this unit. The unit is a "message based device", so it has 100% of the commands a normal scope supports. I am not sure if Tek ever created a soft panel for the scope.
I did find this..

Mike.
I did find those drivers. Problem was there were two versions, a Win 95 and Win NT version, neither of which I can install on my computer (Win 7 64-bit). Hopefully we have a solution with the MetCal procedure in discussion.
Oh yes.. The does not work on this version of Windows problem!.
Then man invented VMWare!
