Title: Fluke A40 Data Sheet (not A or B model)

Does anyone have or know where I can find a data sheet (or better yet a manual) for the A40 shunts?  Getting ready to use them officially and don't have documentation.  A set getting ready to go to Fluke primary lab for cal.

One question I'm wondering what any standards labs types think, is on the A40-10A for the 5725A.  We also have Y5020's that are rated to 5 KHz.  I wonder if a Y5020 with good standards lab uncertainties is good enough for 10 Amps AC on a 5725A.

If you follow the Fluke manual the 10 Amp AC will get tested to 10 kHz.  I suppose if you had your Y5020 charaterized @ 10 kHz you could do it.  I have been using an A40-20A for my 10 amp 5725A tests and been happy with it, compared my results to a piece returned form Fluke and we agreed wihin the uncertainty.  Wish I could help you with that manual or data sheet but I can't find one here.

The A40 manual, as it were, was an inclusion at the rear of the Fluke 540B AC/DC Transfer Standard manual. A40A-10A units work very well for characterizing or calibrating the 5725A. The Y5020 was developed as a calibration accessory for the Fluke 5220A, where the increased load of the A40A shunt affected the calibrator output. However, though the loading of the Y5020 is significantly less than an A40A-10A, the Y5020 has significant AC-DC difference as frequencies rise beyond 5 kHz. I suggest sticking with the A40A-10A - it works great!
