Title: OEM Certifications Not At Least Z540??
Post by: silv3rstr3 on 05-12-2015 -- 04:47:38
We just purchased a $60k torque bench with all the bells and whistles!!  Only problem is we can't accept their cert/data for the transducers because they aren't Z540 compliant.  They failed to include temp/humidity or list any weight set as a standard on the cert.  WTF!!??

Email the manufacturer and request a new cert of cal with that info on it.  Typically they will happy to do so.

We called them directly and they said sorry that's all you get.

Very typical now days. Maybe you should have asked before you spent the $$. The only other choice is to send it some where else to get the Z540 compliant.
