We have a Hart Scientific 9105 drywell bath that works fine with one exception. When the temperature is set to the desired value, the temperature will not change until the unit is powered off then turned on. It then goes to the set temperature.
Does anyone have an idea as to the cause of this problem and how to correct it?

This is not a solid answer, but seems a few years ago, we had a similar problem with a drywell in that family (a 9107 I think). Our problem was caused by some menu settings. Could be actually broken, but perhaps go through some of the odd menu settings to see if anything seems amiss. Another connected question is whether it was working correctly, and all of a sudden stopped working.
