Title: New Section
Post by: MIRCS on 07-28-2004 -- 18:03:48
I think a section where people can post AFTO 22's would be great. You don't have to post the whole thing but could just copy and paste the problems and recommendations. This would save alot of duplicates being sent in.

MIRCS,
I grouped this in with the T.O. section and placed a sticky in the forum.  I think this was the best solution as I don't want to clutter the forum up with a ton of different sections.  Hopefully this can be a handy tool in the future.

Do you think Sound should have it's own K-Section? I know it falls under K3 but there are several different TI types and standards used in calibrations.

Aaron,
I'm not sure if a separate section for sound is needed at this time.  If it looks like enough interest is generated in any one section, I'd look at creating its own forum.  I'm trying to keep the main forums down to the main areas of interest.  My main concern is keeping the overall forum as streamlined as possible.  My feeling is, too many forums make the main page too busy.  These are just my thoughts on this, and as this is my first attempt at a forum if anyone feels otherwise please let me know.

Jesse

p.s. I'm looking into subforums for each main forum.  I think there is a setting somewhere in this software that allows it.  That way you could break the main sections up into smaller sections.  I think that would be a better solution for what you suggested.

Yeah, you're right. I forget that not many PMELS have the system. Thanks.
