Does anyone have an ops manual for this?
Go to google and type in North Atlantic 540 and it should be the first one, it is from epoly.
Thanks, I have it. I was hoping there was another manual or that I had the wrong one.
I don't think I understand the diagram on page 3-2. It looks to me as if I need both 3 phase wye line power and another phase as the reference.
I probably should have asked if anyone knew of some literature on basic synchro resolver operation....
Try 33K8-4-651-1. as that covers the 540/10s.
I have a Fluke 5500A so I think I can use it as a generator (I can even get a +/- 1deg phase shift from it) and I have an RT5 and the DT79A but do not have an ESI RA79. I see some for sale but don't see any information on this unit in GIDEP or on the web.
My goal is to use my NA 540 to calibrate phase angle indicators to better accuracy than I can with the 5500A. If I understood what the RA79 did I might be able to figure out how to use the NA 540 with what I have or to justify buying one.
I'll do the reading if anyone can direct me to literature that will help me understand this.
