Just curious if anyone has gone into these to attempt cleaning the sensor or even possibly attempting to realign.
Most of those I've seen are the Raytek/Fluke family.
I have a (Raytek ST25) on the bench and would like to clean the sensor but don't see any way to disassemble the case.
I have had good luck with just swabbing the exterior lens on the front with alcohol and a cotton tipped swab. After cleaning with alcohol dipped swab, clean again with just a plain cotton tipped swab. Allow at least 30 minutes after cleaning to allow lens temperature to return to ambient. Lens cools down due to evaporation of alcohol.
For some reason the lens seems to accumulate a lot of dust and dirt.
