Here's some buddies of mine on the day before and the morning of my hog hunt! The black was around 400lb and the brown was about 315. Can someone say "BBQ"? :-D
Black beast....
I smell bacon...
A country boy's best friend, a Muslim's worst enemey! :-D
here Piggy Piggy!! Nice. What did you guys take it down with? I like to hunt them with a pistol. I have friends that like to hunt them with dogs and knives. I just can't see getting to close enough to one of those beast to cut it's neck. I hope you guys wore gloves to handle the blood. Those things are disease bags.
They took the brown one with a .40 shot just behind the left shoulder. It ran about 100 yards and they popped it again. I personally won't hunt one with anything less then a .44mag. The black was shot with a 30.06 three times. The third shot clipped its spine. These guys are still young hunters and tend to get a lil excited. One well-place shot with a 30.06 would of dun the trick. I killed my first boar with .00 buck 12 gauge from about 30 yards. It ran all of five feet before dropping. :-D
I remember the first time I saw one of those beast in the woods. It scared me to death. I didn't expect it to be so big. They look scary as hell when they are charging you. The black russian boars are the evilest looking beast I ever encountered in the woods.
Hey I wanna go. I have never been hog hunting
You in Texas? :-D
Nice hog, Devil!

That's what we used to do when we went clubbing outside of Grand Forks AFB, ND!
I'll try to go out again before I leave on my trip to the UAE. Maybe I can bring some meat to Abu Dhabi! hahaha!
Take some to them and don't tell them what it is.
Don't forget to drop some off at the neighbors!
I saw a show last night on how they make tofu. You have to be smoking dope to eat that crap.
"Bacon? No, It's humus!" :-D

How do they make it? :? :? :?
They soak the soy beans for 24 hours til they are plumped up. then they boil them. then theypush the beans through a strainer with high pressure to mash them up. Then they seperate the soy milk from the bean. At this point the bean looks like scrambled eggs. Then they add flavor ( if it's the flavored kind ) and gelatin ( which is made from cows ). The whole process was a turn off.
I wonder how many tofu eaters know that tofu has cow in it?
When God gave us dominion over the animals, I think He meant us to eat them, That's why He also made the hickory tree, so they could be properly smoked and barbequed. Alton Brown of the Food Channel agrees with me, so I must be right...
Tofu was probably invented in California when they were searching for an adhesive substance to keep them from sliding into the ocean...

I was told to watch out for the WMA's. People there tend to shoot at anything. But I am game.
I wouldn't hunt on one during deer season, but hunting hogs before and after is safe. It would be the first time that I ever hunted on public land.
That's what blaze orange, xmas tree lights, an air horn, and a huge sign that says,"I'm not a deer, f*cker!" is for. :-D works for me!
Or just wear a cow bell. :|
But don't forget your deer piss....
I was walkling my dogs about 200 yards from my house. It's right next to a greenbelt where they's cows and donkeys. About 20 yds off the sidewalk i heard hogs! :-D I ran back to the house, grabbed my neighbor(the F-16 pilot), his 12 guage and my .40 (for backup, of course). we tipped toed down the ravine and spooked them. Rats! :x
Oh yeah, this within city limits, and right in the middle of my new development! :-D

I have gone out all dressed up like the "great pumpkin" still walking thru thick brush heard a shot gun cock. Not the best of feelings. I did start yelling "I am not a deer"
Then they shot again so that they would be the first person to shoot a talking deer. :-o
:-D Yeah or the shot ya anyway for scareing the deer!
yeah, I've done that before.
I definitely have to wear Dayglo when out schrooming in the fall!
Shrooming? Pscilocyben while cause you to become a democrate or worse a Member of the Green Party. hahahaha
Poke..poke...
I stay away from the "tea" variety, mostly morrell's. Green is okay, Democrat (BOO BOO, HISS HISS)...
