Damn!  :x Almost....

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. — Firefighters were finally able to contain a nearly 100- square mile (259-square kilometer) blaze on Tuesday night after days of struggling in Southern California, but with rain forecast, there was a new fear of mudslides.

Let's see: Earthquakes, liberals, Bloods and Crips, in-your-face gays, wild fires, floods, pollution, hippies, cost of living, 49ers, illegal mexicans, Hollywood( :x :x) and the fact that California is slowly eroded away in the ocean(not fast enuff! :-D), what better qualities could you possibly find in a better state? :-D
