All the people that view the site.....though hardly anyone post.

Take it back to the..........There isn't a dumb question.

When I first found the site I thought it would be great as those would shared experience and their issues that could effect me or others. That is what this site was made for.......for ALL of us to help each other.

I do hope that this is seen as a cry out to the registered and not yet registered users and NOT as a complaint.

Oh and by the way this is a GREAT SITE.

So some of you that have a few questions or remedies for us.....please post.

Well I can only speak for myself, but I haven't had much to post about lately. I've been bored out of my skull this past week running some pretty dull stuff...torque, a bunch of sound, some pressure, a DSM-129... although, I am about re-check the temp cal from last week on my 2500, that might raise my blood pressure a bit.

My excuse is I'm not currently working in PMEL.  Slaving away at a local university, fixing very old lab gear and IT support mostly.  Hope to get back into aviation PMEL again (previously USMC airwing and airline metrology after that) and find this site very informative.  Certainly haven't seen anything better on the net.  A couple metrology forums around but they are very quiet....

I think it has a lot to do with the assignments you have and the people you're stationed with.

When I was stationed at Bitburg AB and Whiteman AFB, you couldn't have found a better group of people to work with.  People got together for BBQ's, picnics, parties, camping, bowling, golf, you name it.  Then I went to Luke AFB.  Nothing like that at all.  They had 50+ people at the time I was there, and nobody did squat.  I tried to start some after work get togethers, but there was very little interest.  That assignment was one of the reasons I got out of the AF.  Up until that point I had planned on serving 20 years.  Only was in for 7.  Been out since 96'

Been working at mostly aerospace manufacturing companies doing quality assurance and inspection work.  Looking to go into IT.  I do very little calibration work now, but have friends that I keep in touch with, still in the field.

LOL!  True. Those T.O.s are mainly for the mechanics and grunts.

But it's still pretty damn embarrassing.

That little tidbit was pointed out to me by the late Lawson "Pappy" Beatty.  He thought it was a bit embarrassing too.
But take heart Aaron!  Those picture T.O.'s can't be half as embarrassing as 6.0.2b!!!!!!!!

I always liked the improvement form in the Army TMs.   The one with the cartoon woman saying "Hey if you find something wrong with this manual, be cool and send in this form." or something along those lines.  Always made me laugh.
