Title: CDC testing software
Post by: Darrell on 02-01-2007 -- 08:45:34
Anybody know what happened to the CDC / URE tester on this website?

I was using it and it worked great, but now I can't find it. ???

Thanks,
Darrell

Sorry Darrell, but something happened where users could no longer log into it.  Sadly, the software that was behind it, is no longer supported and is pretty much dead, so I can't get any help with it.

I'm working with 3c0x1.net to get a copy of something they developed for their site.  The only drawback to this version is that it won't track individual progress.  You will still be able to select volumes, and generate random tests though.  The admin thinks it will be ok, he just wants to get permission from the actual author.

I'll be sure to make an announcement when it is back up and running.

I'm happy to announce that the cdc tester is back online!  :-D

After some major code hacking on my part, I've actually managed to integrate it with the forum login.  This way you no longer have to create a separate account just to use it.  But you must be logged into the forum in order for it to recognize you.

I will be making some tweaks to it eventually, just to fine tune the layout and such, but it should be fully functional as of now.  Give it a spin and let me know if you run into any problems.

P.S.
As Darrel pointed out a while back, there might be some questions that are being incorrectly scored.  If you find that happening, please let me know what they are so I can fix them.  I just don't have the time to sort through nearly 700 questions.  Thanks.
