Title: Cal of Fluke 8508A Multimeter
Post by: K-Rock on 02-23-2007 -- 13:03:22
We're having problems with ours failing cal at Fluke, and it's costing a pretty penny for each cal. I'd like to bring the cal in-house. I talked to the application engineer at Fluke, and all we need to do is characterize the 5720A and have a 1G std. resistor. Any experience out there with this cal?

Anyone got anything on this?

First, I have to say I don't have an answer.
The reason I'm responding to your post is to ask about any information on calibrating an 8508A with a 5720.
We have two 8508As and Met/Cal.
Also, could you tell me the engineer's name, I know several people in Everett and maybe we can work on this problem together.
Take care.
