Hello friends,
This is my first post here so pardon any mistakes.  I have installed a trial version of MET/CAL Ver.  7. 2 & i am unable to communicate with the Calibrator (Fluke 5100B) nor the DUTs.  I tried using both Agilent 82350A PCI GPIB card & Agilent 82357B USB-GPIB Adapter, yet there is no response, but i do get some errors.  I guess the MET/CAL looks for NI cards, but is there a workaround to use Agilent.  Pls help me or forward this request to someone who can help. .  Thanks a lot!
Kiran Anand.

Met/Cal uses NI's driver base for communication. I have tried to bridge this with an Agilent GPIB communicator with some success but I found in the long run NI cards are the best way. If you are concerned with the price of the card ($600 is a lot) you can get an old TNT NI card for a lot less ($40) off ebay that will work. Just make sure you get the one that fits in your computer.  ISA is an old standard that might not work in your modern computer. A modern PCI card off ebay is around $200.
