First, this is dealing with 33K6-4-119-1. In this procedure it states

3.10 Calibrate all Thread Measuring Wires to published Table 1 specifications unless otherwise noted in SPECTRACK database.

What is SPECTRACK and does anyone have it? If so can anyone tell me if the tolerances of a 34HS Thread Wire set is different in SPECTRACK than in Table 1?

Thank you,

the SPECTRACK Database is software included with that fancy Mahr 828WIN/39"    item 2.2 in Equipment Requirements.

Can't help you with the tolerances, sorry

check ANSI B1.1 and B1.2 that is the basic bible for threads. there you will find over roll sizes, gaging pressures and the tolerances should be calculated.
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away.

Thanks Tater. I already looked at that, I was just after what was in that database as that is what the procedure stated.

Oh, I beg to differ!   If I remember right, I think they made a movie about "Everything you ever wanted to know about sex but was afraid to ask", and it had a bit with Gene Wilder and a sheep in lingerie.   That was creepy, even though it was a comedy bit!    :| :-o :?
