I am trying to find an AC Voltage source that will output 1000V at 2MHz. Any help would be appreciated.

At 1000 V, it's hard to find a (currently manufactured) source nowadays that will output that amplitude at 100 kHz, let alone, 2 MHz. Good Luck!

Where does the 5700 cut out? Also what do you need to put out 1000 V at 2 MHZ for? It might help if we knew why you needed that particular voltage.

Our customer is being forced by UL to test the item they sell (ballast tester)
Model #2754A to the complete range of the specifications of the item and they have only had it tested to the max frequency range of the 5720A (1000V 1KHz).

When you start talking that kind of frequency and voltage you start running into transmission problems.  You need to look out side the calibration lab and into radio and or radar test system.  I think you will be looking at a Klystron or some other High Power transmission system.

My thought instead of looking for a calibrated source, I would be looking for an uncalibrated (stable) source and compare the UUT's reading to another measurement device like a power sensor.

But there is that side of me that would suggest you kick back to UL, if the customer is not using the device at that voltage and frequency, then it really does not have to be checked. And check with the manufacture about the design of the unit.  You may be able to verify the UUT's frequency response at a lower power on that range, and the linearity at a lower frequency.

Anyway... That is my 2 cents.
