I heard a rumor Fluke and Agilent were going to merge.  The new company wil be called "Flagilent".  I think the rumor is just a bunch of hot air :-D

I know I get Flagilent after some cheap beer.  :-D

HP would buy Agilent first before Fluke could get their hands on it.

Fluke has taken over at the Ruska facility in Houston.   They did not buy Druck, who actually owned Ruska before GE bought Druck.   Ruska/Pressurements will stay in Houston, and everything Druck done in Houston will move to Boston or the UK.   Some (~17 people + dr dodge) are having their positions "phased out"

DANG, DUDE! I was fixin' just today to send in a 7250XI for repair. Will there be anyone left that can support products?

dr dodge

all service support is doing fine.   In some sense, we (as a whole) are actually doing better at moving product (especially papertrail).  customers should not worry.   The transition is more of splitting the facility in half, GE/Druck over there, Fluke/Ruska over here.   eventually the Druck support will  go to the Boston center.   The only losers are some employees.
