Depending on how people respond to using Flexible Standards I will make a post on how to use them somewhat efficiently.

I know about flexible standards in Surecal.  How do you use flexible standards in MetCal?

That is the thing you don't very well. That is why I am asking to see if there is any interest.

This is a bad post ok let's try again. Fluke has implemented flexible standard into Met/Cal. It is poorly done but can be used with some success. It will take me a while to make a write up. I don't want to do it if no one is interested.

We use some Surecal, and have a lot of MetCal procedures.  Many of the MetCal procedures were developed elsewhere and aren't a good match to instruments we have in lab.  And........ we are trying to expand our use of automation.  so I'd definitely like to hear about flexible standards.  And I did just now look to verify... we have version 7.1.  Don't know how much difference that makes.  But I would like to hear about how to implement flexible standards in MetCal.

I read a short paper by fluke on how to utilize flexible standards, however it seemed that a knowledge of met track was required... i think, I can't remember.  It would be interesting to read your write up, that is, if you feel like it, heh.

It was my understanding that the code did not have to be changed much, if at all.  This worked especially well when substituting equipment with another from the same family and similiar commands?

Is it just me or did PMEL change his name to skidaddle skaduski and start making more random posts?
