Bad News... Good News... you decide

The bad news:  Due to numerous security concerns with the old forum software, my host has banned it from their servers.

The good news:  I've been thinking about updating the look and feel of the site anyway.

So I guess this decision will force me into change mode.  The first thing I did was make sure to find a suitable forum that allowed for an easy conversion.  Luckily, the one that my host was recommending as secure, transferred over fairly easily.  Once I converted and made sure that nothing was lost, I shut down the old site so no more content would be added while I work out the kinks. 

Eventually, I will be integrating the forum into a CMS, which will allow access to the weblinks, downloads, the handbook, etc...  I don't have a timeline on that yet, but it will be soon.  So, for the time being though, it's just gonna be a forum.   

I apologize, but it can't be helped.  Hopefully, the outcome will be a crisper, fresher PMEL Forum!

I freaked when I saw it. Thought it loaded wrong so I refreshed. Came up the same so I found the little news window. I was very accustomed to the old look and feel. The colors went better with the metrology logo too can you change the intro page by monday so people aren't confused? Perhaps make the news box in bigger type or something else like putting NEW LOOK somewhere in about 18 point font for a few days . Just my penny.
