How to pack a record in Met/Cal

If you have a need to send or transfer a procedure or group of procedures you can use the Pack function in Met/Cal Editor. This feature was introduced in 7.2. It will take all the necessary files like pics,*.dir and *.proc and place them into a single zip type file. In Met/Cal editor select "File" then "Pack..." this will bring up a dialog box. Select the desired proc file then the actual procedure you want, to select multiple procedure hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard. Just select the main it will get the sub files automatically. It will now ask you to name this file and select a save location. To unpack this file select "File" then "Unpack" follow the directions. I use this when I am making a change to a procedure so the original will not be touched. If you have any questions please leave them here and I will get back with you.
