I have a customer telling me he thinks there is something wrong with the DC bias on his Agilent 4263B LCR meter. I do not even know how to check that? Any ideas?  :?

I have the PDF of the op manual. You just jumper using BNC cables between the sense and current, then measure high versus low using an HP 3458A at 0, 1.5 and 2 V (and negative of those).  The spec is +/-5% +2 mV.

I have the 16089B Kelvin clip leads box that you use to take the measurements. I would have thought you could just hook it up to a meter?

According to the procedure in OEM manual, and the way I have done them over the years is with BNC T connectors between current and sense.  Using Kelvins might work, but I haven't tried it that way.

Only problem is I am limited on my connectors...

I would think if you used Kelvin clip leads connected to some short pieces of solid copper wire connected into the input terminals of an HP 3458A (or adequate DMM), that should work good enough for that measurement.  Set to the settings in the earlier post and see what you get.

Got it. Thanks Hawaii. I ended up doing a reset to factory due to some poroblems I was having. Everything seems to be working fine now.
