Need recommendations for a good online course on Uncertainties.

Need to bone up on it for my CCT.

The uncertainty material on the test is not too complicated.  The CCT Primer (Philip Stein/Quality Council of Indiana) Section  VI gives the level of detail needed.....to pass the test and give general concepts.

Oh yeah....see if you can get some of the Fluke material.  "Applying measurement uncertainty to digital DMM calibration".

Good luck.  I will lose my cert if I'm forced to take that test again.  The primer and cd with the test questions really helped.

Learningmeasure.com has some uncertainty courses:
http://www.learningmeasure.com/category/UNC

I haven't seen them, you have to pay for their subscriptions, but it's not expensive, $5/month or $60/year lets you take any of their courses.

They often have podcasts of lectures on their companion site, www.learningmeasure.tv, and they offer freebies from time to time.

Have you taken any of these courses? I previewed the site and it seemed very amateurish?

I just discovered this forum. I am the owner of LearningMeasure.com. I am sorry the site appears amateurish, what would you like to see on the site that would make it look less so? My business is a small operation, so the web design is relatively basic, but we do have a lot of material under the hood.

A relevant program for those studying for the ACQ CCT exam can be found at

http://www.learningmeasure.com/metrology-training/

which covers more topics, but includes the uncertainty training. Anyone just interested in the uncertainty training, one can sign up here:

Anyone who has any questions, please email me directly at owner@learningmeasure.com.
