What misinformation??? You just confirmed what I said. The agreement ended they pulled out. Thank you for confirming what I said.
Actually, you implied it was President Obama's decision, when in fact it was Bush's.
"The only reason he ended operation in Iraq is because Iraq wanted to change the joint forces agreement"

Just sayin...

ok makes sense. I see where your going. So we both agree it was not president Obamas decision to end the war in Iraq good to know. Where do you stand on all his other broken campaign promises?

A politician didn't keep their promises? Alert the newspapers!!
Even Bush only got away with what Congress allowed...
I would really like to see every single encumbant tossed out of office and an amendment limiting Congress and Senate to 12 years total, and no pension until after serving 8.
It would be nice if they were subject to the same laws as everyone else as well.
It makes no difference which party is in, if the players never change and everyone puts their party before the good of the country.
Term limits for everybody and no more raises for Congress.

The whole system is broken, these people get elected and then spend their entire term running for election.

Finally we agree!!! I also think that they should get no better than what our proud men and women get that serve in the military 50% of their pay. Further more I think that should be reduced if they do not spend a certain number of years "in service" to our country. I get tired of hearing politicians say they can't make it on their $156k per year pay.. Thats insane no wonder they can't balance a budget unrealistic expectations from the moment they get elected.

No one in their right mind would spend $20 million to get a job that only pays $156k...not that there's anything suspicious about that or anything...

A former co-worker at MS (Louis Cason) whipped this up during morning break a few days ago:

"In light of a recent celebrity passing there has been a small backlash from the quieter, less outspoken community that feel that a military (or even para-military like police and fire personnel) member's deaths are not as publicized as that of the civilian Kings and Queens of entertainment. It is true. They are not.

Members of the military do not seek fame and fortune. They are drawn to their calling for honor and duty. In light of this it should be noted that nobody will ever visit the grave sites of celebrities with the awe, respect and numbers that will visit such hallowed ground as Arlington Cemetery, Pearl Harbor and the beaches of Normandy. Nobody will guard with such precision, reverence, and dedication a person without identity as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

A reporter will not have as captivated an audience as a young child holding a photograph of their family member who sits listening to the heroic deeds of a member of his or her own family.

History may speak kindly on the passing celebrity. It may overlook the motivations behind their rise to stardom, the way they lived their lives and/or the cause of their passing.

History however will reflect the truth when it comes to the people who paid the ultimate price to serve and protect their country. They did not do it for themselves. They did not do it for the individual glory and riches. They did it because we asked them to and for this same reason they will live on in far greater immortality than any celebrity ever will."
