Hawaii596

Okay, this is definitely WAY off topic.  Lately, I've been getting into listening to old time radio broadcasts.  Including Captain Midnight.  If any of you are OTR (Old Time Radio) afficianados, I am in the episodes where Chuck Ramsey and Frank Crane were kidnaped by Ivan Shark.  For what ever reason, it is driving me nuts... Who played Frank Crane on this series.  I can't find a good set of radio credits for the series.  There is more about the TV series from the 50s.  This is from episodes around 1940 or so.

Do you know the name of the episode??? I tried to look but do not see Frank Crane listed anywhere

Hawaii596

The series is from March of 1940.  Frank Crane was a guest for a number of episodes.  He was a young friend that Captain Midnight's young protege made who got caught up in this plot.  The voice sounds so familiar.  If you look in Archives[dot]org under Captain Midnight, there are two sets of episodes available there.  One of them contains the 33 part serial for this particular adventure.  I think Captain Midnight would make a great movie.  Maybe even shoot it retro style from the 1940's.
