Anybody know if it is possible to run artifact cal on a 5700A/5725A and leave the 5700A cal enable off while the 5725 is enabled and only updating it's constants?  I have a 5725A I'd like to optimize but don't want it to affect my 5700.
Thanks

I just did 5720A/5725A cals a few days ago.  If I recall correctly, the only adjustments for the 5725A are range adjustments - being the high current and the high voltage/frequency combination.  I had both units set for CAL ENABLE.  So not sure about 5725A only.  My logic is that if I leave the 5720A to NORMAL and 5725A to CAL ENABLE, it will only allow me to do those couple of adjustments - which in my meager inderstanding, I think are the only 5725A adjustments.

Question is, leaving the 5720A (5700A in your case) in NORMAL, will it allow you to save cal changes in the 5725A, since it depends on the 5700A cal menu.

I would think that as long as you don't run cal on the 5700A except for RANGE CAL which includes only the applicable 5725A ranges above, that you are not even trying to save a 5700A value. But, not 100% sure.

This is right from the manual "The 5725A is calibrated
whenever an attached 5700A is calibrated."

I would assume from that statement that what you are considering is not possible.
