We have several M&TE that require 2 days to calibrate. We would like to be able to place the Met/Cal procedure in hibernation at the end of the day to prevent data loss and be able to resume them the next day from where we left off. Manual Met/Cal procedures can be placed in hibernation. Can a Met/Cal procedure be placed into hibernation? I have searched the Met/Cal help file and google and could not find any mention of Met/Cal procedure hibernation. We are running Met/Cal v 8.0.51. Now, we either type all data to a *.txt file manually or take screen shots of the displayed data.

Thank you for your help!!!

Maybe you can do a procedure that does a part one then a part two. I know that you can export data to excel as well with 8.0. That requires a little more know-how with the lib feature I believe. I haven't had the chance to experiment on it myself but I wanted to. What I think would work is to start the calibration on day 1 and have all data exported to excel. You could then import the data back into the procedure the next day with additional commands or you could just keep exporting them to excel. It depends if you're using Met/TRACK or Met/TEAM for data management or another software to generate your reports.
There could be a better method but I'm just thinking off the cuff at the moment. Hope that helps!

If you have the latest METCAL you can make your procedure a sectioned procedure, run the portion you need on day one, come back and run the remaining portion on day 2.

Is that in 9.0? I never saw that feature in 8.0 versions. bAdbOb has 8.0.51, so unless he has the Met/GOLD or whatever it's called, he won't have the latest and greatest.

Im not sure exactly what version it came out in, Im pretty sure it was available on the later releases of 8.0 but I could be wrong.
If you cant find an example in the help file let me know Ill see If I can post one
