I have never owned a Norelco razor.  My dad had one, I tried it but could never get a good shave..

Today I have 4 generations of Braun razors and they all still work.  Aside from batteries won't hold a full charge they have been the most reliable shaver I have ever had..

I have one at the house.. One used just for travel.... One in my camper...  And my very first Braun razor stuffed in a drawer waiting for the apocalypse.

So what is your you preferred razor...

I have 2 Braun shavers, one I bought back in the last century, which works just fine. I just have to get the replacement blades from Korea. And a new one my wife gave me a couple years back.
One for the office, one for home.

Haven't used either. I have a cheap-o from CVS my wife bought me. The reason is my facial hair grows at approximately 1 cm a month. Thanks in part to my Native American roots (I'm an American mutt). At least I like to think that's the reason :)

I use a Panasonic ES-LA63-S. It works great!

You shave when you're camping?

Probably just to make sure they aren't confused for some wild animal. That prevents a person from getting shot by a hunter or tranq'd by ranger

Well I rebuilt an Alaskan Camper.  Still working on the heating system..  For some reason women think us men can rebuild / re-engineer something as complex as a heater..

Anyway.. Sense I finished the camper I have taken it on one business trip.  I can park in an RV Park instead of hotel and car rental..
*** And I can check out some remote spots on the drive there..

Special Note.. If I take it to Boston, Tony said he will fill my 50 gallon water tank with wine for the ride back..

In one of my professional lives, I was the lead calibration tech at Philips Medical Systems (formerly Hewlett Packard Medical Systems) calibration lab.  One of the services they perform there is in the compliance (UL type) testing leb right next to the calibration lab.  They would get case lots of brand new, in package products to test. This included Norelco shavers one time.  After the tests were completed, they packaged the items up and walked around asking if anyone wanted one.  I raised my hand and got what was then (about 10 years ago) about a $150 Norelco shaver.  I replaced the triple header blade once (dropped the shaver and damaged it).  But I am still using it after 10 years, and like it.  Best of all, it was free.
