Datron 4707 or 4708 33K, NAVAIR or TB cal procedure

Hello;
I am looking for a procedure for the Datron 4707 or 4708. It can be a 33K, NAVAIR or TB cal procedure.

The K procedure for the 4708 can be found in GIDEP.

Access to GIDEP https://members.gidep.org/gidep.htm
takes a bit of time but is worth the effort.

Thanks for the reply. I could get access to GIDEP if my company saw it's value. I'm trying... it is particularly frustrating being a retired PME tech..

In the mean time I have an issue to solve..

Maybe explain it to them from a quality point of view.  Having access to approved DOD procedures is very beneficial.  Here's the e-mail address I've used to contact GIDEP in the past.  I've never set up anyone's account personally but I doubt it costs much if anything at all.

I agree. Quality is a team effort.

I am near certain your Director of Quality has mandated your using approved written procedures. A diplomatically worded email to your manager and at least one person in your quality department should make it clear that you understand their role and yours in this effort.

Retain a copy.

Thanks for the support, I know the benefits unfortunately small companies with people that never "grew up" in this structure have a tough time wrapping their heads around it. There are things I miss not being in a military cal lab.....

My lab inherited a fairly extensive technical library from an aerospace company and I have the "Calibration And Servicing Handbook" for the Datron 4700 mutifunction calibrator in hard copy.

The calibration section is approximately 20 pages and I wasn't able to find where Datron put a restriction on distribution.

This procedure is intended for full system realignment to factory specifications and will not serve as a practical guide for routine calibration.

That said, it might serve you in some capacity.
