I am on the Executive Board of North Carolina Waterman, a non profit 501 3.c.

We are doing something great in my mind on May 20th.................does that day ring a bell to ya'll???

Well it is officially Military Appreciation Day and we at North Carolina Waterman...............in the last month.........after finding out a couple of months ago that a Marine was denied access to a bar in Wilmington NC....actually all Marines were banned................we loaded up on a bus a few Marines and hauled butt for Wilmington.......paid for their meals, drinks etc..............amazingly with the media there no member of the Proud was denied access........................well there is some background......back to May 20th...........

We are sponsoring a day of festivities for our active duty heros.............................heck here it is.......

1st. Annual MILITARY APPRECIATION DAY!!!
MAY 20, 2006 ARMED FORCES DAY held at USCG Station Fort Macon!

The members of North Carolina Waterman, a non-profit organization and Hitchcock Realty would like to THANK ALL OF OUR PROUD MILITARY PERSONNEL FOR THEIR SERVICE TO OUR GREAT NATION!

* Deep Sea Fishing aboard the CAROLINA PRINCESS
* Fishing on our many private boats
* Huge cook out
* Tour of Coast Guard Station Fort Macon
* Free ferry service to Shackleford Banks
* Transportation included!!!

ALL FREE OF CHARGE TO ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY
Allow us to show our appreciation for your sacrifice and accomplishments!

We have now greatly exceeded what we thought we would get in people. Need to buy or have donated a third pig......pushing our chickens up to 50-75 with that being 200-300 quarters.......50 lbs of hushpuppy mix :-oWith that being said........if you are in the area please come out and participate..............check out www.ncwaterman.com for all the details.............oh yeah we need some money too

We have as of today 221 active duty folks assigned for fishing. We have almost 200 family members getting free putt-putt, aquarium visits, historical cruises of the Morehead, Beaufort areas, kayaks.....day at the beach. We are now cooking 4 100lb hogs. 100 chickens......so that's 400 quarters.

Holy cow this hasgotten big....................can't wait till next year.........we are shooting for 500-1000 active fishing.

What part of NC r u from? I'm from there, too. I was born at Camp Lejuene and grow up between Wilington, Charolotte and finally Hickory...It's always nice to here from folks from my state!
