RF Calibration Technician
LOCATION: Vista, CA (20 miles north of San Diego, CA)

JOB SUMMARY:
Techmaster Electronics is looking for two experienced RF calibration technicians.    The Vista lab currently needs two individuals with strong skills in microwave measurements that would include items such as Microwave Measurement Systems, Frequency/Synthesizer Generators to 50 GHz, Phase Noise, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and Communication Analyzers.   

REQUIREMENTS:
1.  Minimum four (4) years experience in Test, Maintenance, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration and repair, preferably in a military calibration lab.   Experience to include inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, calibrating, and certifying TMDE, metrology laboratory working standards, and safe work practices/procedures.       

2.  Completion of the Military DOD metrology-training program or an AA in Metrology.   

3.  Possess the knowledge required to read and analyze block, schematic, wiring, and logic diagrams. 

4.  Willing to perform on-site calibrations.  Some travel is required.

5.  Must be familiar with ISO 17025 requirements including measurement uncertainty calculations.

6.  Must have valid drivers license.     


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.   Lifting/Moving Requirement - up to 50 pounds.     The following activities are also often required: climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, talking, and hearing.
