SMR has failed audit at Robins and has fired most of the people.  They are in trouble
as a company to keep their existing contracts and can't recruit for positions in OKC.
They are "pinging". . . . . . . . .

Disgruntled

Ever notice how this forum seems to be the place that attracts the disgruntled calibration technicians?

I always put my stock in random posts about company X or company Y that did this or did that. . . . blah blah blah.

Just for the record, Robins did fail the audit, both contract and organic.   The contractor did not fire any of the Techs, but the Site Manager did resign.   We are not losing the contract, we are working with the government to correct the problems and get ready for the re-audit.

We do have openings at several of our labs, because we have had some techs move to other location for promotions.   Some techs have taken jobs with other companies.

Get your facts right before you make your posting.

I happen to believe most of the comments from the "disgruntled" techs who've posted in the past.  I've had similar experiences myself.  I don't consider "Sharani" a disgruntled tech, just someone with his/her facts wrong.  People who speak out usually get lambasted as being wacko, crazy, extreme, etc.  It's all how you look at it.

As far as Robins Goes, I've never heard anything negative about the lab or their techs.  If I wanted to live in that area I'd apply for a position w/o hesitation.
