Camera Microscopes

I would like to be able to examine & document, photograph connectors, mostly 2.4 & 3.5mm.  Curious if anybody has tried any of the usb microscopes or has any suggestions for others.  We have some usb scopes that we use for optical connectors and they seem fine but cannot adapt them to electrical connectors.
