In a very busy day at work, I was surfing the net and I came across the following  list of calibration companies.
Is not a complete list since I know of a least 10 other companies that aren't in the list.  And I was wondering how many more companies are out there?

I agree, the company I work for is not listed and a lot of the companies near me are not there either.

Yes I noticed that the list is mostly manufactures, that's why I added a few that I know

And even for manufacturers, the list is not complete. Why, I don't even see Yoyodyne!

Here's an interesting idea; and perhaps this website might be the place for such a thing...

How about a section of the website with a comprehensive list of calibration labs, addresses, contact info.  Whether they are accredited, and additionally, ratings review section with objective ratings as to cheeseball rating (if you all know what I mean).  The "cheeseball" rating may be a little tough, as some of them may complain about it.  Just a thought.

That sounds like a great idea. It seems to be a very logical expansion on what is already available on this website. It would also help people that are looking for jobs find potential places of employement.

I think the rating section is a good idea. Perhaps there is a way to make the ratings visible to members only. That way passerbys will only see the list of companies, and not our candid comments.

we can put a link to the list in the Main Menu, like under metrology Handbook or job listings
the list should have company name, link to their web site, type of company (Manufacture, service company or contract) and location
