Just received a TTU-205 for calibration and I haven't seen them for a while.  The one I have is a TTU-205J and it is out of tolerance.  I remember previous models having a tilt and offset adjustment on the altitude and airspeed circuit cards that used jumpers for the adjustments.  From what I can tell on this newer model, J, the modification included only the A2 card and not the A3 and A4 card which are the airspeed and altitude cards that have the previously mentioned jumper adjustments.  I'm not sure if this modification bypasses the jumper adjustments.  I am aware of the software for the ECC TTU-205s, but don't have it.  I am also aware of the AFTO D7-3-60-73, but also don't have that, and I am unsure if that even addresses any manual adjustments for a J model.  Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you need the TestVonics calibrator as the alignments are software now...if you're a military lab, you should have the calibrator, a laptop, and the software...

I agree with mdbuike. I calibrate a few TTU-205s a month and you will need either the Testvonics ECC software and a 3682 or the Testvonics ADC-2500 Air Data Calibrator with the ECC software installed. Definitely call Testvonics for advice...(603)-924-5922 (Peterborough, NH). The J models are pretty much soft-cal and the alignment process is accessible through the ECC software. If you plan on doing more TTU-205Js in the future it might be worth your while to acquire the required equipment/software. PM me if you need more info...
