I just did a quick, cursory background check on them.  There are no reports on them on ripoffreport[dot]com, and they reported one of the companies people found through them that they wanted to warn people about.  It looks like they are in the business of letting military veterans know about companies that offer military discounts.  So I didn't find anything scammy in the quick check.  I haven't used them though.  I looked up the domain owner, which is Thomas Enterprises, run by Terence Thomas.  He has a facebook account.  Just my preliminary thoughts.

I looked at the site and it appeared OK. I have used this before and if it is somewhere that is where you want to go you can't really beat the price. http://www.afvclub.com/
