Just got one in today, not sure if it's ready for prime time just yet.  Remote operation has some "anomalies" as one would say for public consumption.

Just took a look on google images.  Looks pretty nice.  The bright white color and color display kind of hurt my eyes though.  That seems like a little culture shock.  Is it spec'd better than the 5720A?

We have one here at JSC in Houston. It's been tweaked a little on some of the specs...
We are still running MetCal 7 here, since  NASA's IT people have not yet approved it.
This requires that we use the 5730A in emulation mode, and it locks up a lot...

I compared them on the  published specs, absolute uncertainty/12mo/95% confidence and the 5730A has improvement in AC voltage 220mV thru 22V ranges from 40hz to 300kHz  frequencies, AC Current 2.2ma thru 2.2A ranges 40hz to 1kHz & resistance 1k ohm thr 1.9M ohm.  I am hoping with the usb slot I can more easily pull cal check data from it.  We are having the lockup too in our initial trials, hope it is resolved soon.

The latest release of MetCal 8 has a 5730A FSC code. I was told it works well.
