Hi, does anyone know anything about the said workshop ?
The only thing I know is that it will take place between 9 and 13 June 2008

Mike

What else do you need to know?  It is at Denison University, same place as always...the agenda and info is posted on METWEB.

Workshop fee is $318, includes lodging and meals.

yes, it is 9-13 June.

Well Maybe the gentleman in question (much like myself) has never been to said convention? Maybe he would like to know if it is a big BS session with no real value? Is it actually worth going to? What kind of lessons will be taught? Is this a yearly event? What is METWEB? Is the food generally any good?

Mike

My bad...

I assumed if he was asking about it, he is in the AF...since it is an AF workshop.

This is the biennial Air Force Worldwide PMEL workshop...it is for PMELs in the Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) program.

METWEB...is the AFMETCAL website.  It is not open to the public, but only to authorized AF users.  If you can't get on that, you wouldn't be invited to the workshop either, most likely, since the workshop if just for AF PMELs, and a few select invitees, such as some foreign military PMELs that do business with the AF.

Thanks Mike, but I would appreciate if you could provide me with the
info regarding the agenda because I dont have access to METWEB.  Forgot to mention I am a foreign calibrator

Mike

Not sure if that is releasable or not...if you have contact with an FMS manager at AFMETCAL, they would be your point of contact for that information.

I've been to a few in the past and they are worthwhile, in my opinion.
