I'm working with a local Colorado company (Fort Collins and Loveland – 2 sites) who is a $1. 5B corporation with 5,000 global employees.   They make a wide array of energy control systems for engines and turbines in several markets: aircraft engines, aircraft systems, industrial turbines and engines, marine, wind turbines, etc.

We're looking for a senior level calibration technician to join a team of 4 others providing in-house metrology services for mechanical and electrical measurement devices and systems.   The local operations include a state-of-the-art machine shop, electronic assembly and test, mechanical assembly and test, pressure and flow test – all the processes needed to manufacture and assemble high tech fluid control systems.  This is a hands-on role that requires an understanding of the science behind the methods for calibration (measurement error, uncertainty, statistical methods, etc. )

This position offers a base salary to $70K, plus overtime pay (typically working 50-60 hrs/week equating to $90K+ annually) shift premium (need to willing to work both 1st and 2nd shifts), 7. 5% target annual bonus, 4. 5% matching 401K plan, 5% annual stock contribution and a very competitive benefit package.   Although the company does not offer a full relocation package, they would consider a lump sum payment to assist in relocation expenses for the right candidate.

If you have an interest in this opportunity, please forward your confidential resume along with the best time and number to contact you and I will follow up.   If you have no interest but know of someone who may – I'd appreciate the referral.

Thanks and best regards - Steve (970) 612. 0801

As Owner and Managing Director of Management Recruiters of Fort Collins I have enjoyed recruiting nationally for manufacturing, engineering, quality and human resource professionals since opening up my office here in Northern Colorado in 2004. After nearly twenty-five years in the manufacturing industry I struck out on my own to fulfill a dream and a passion of mine - owning my own business and helping companies succeed through people. I've been blessed with an outstanding client and candidate base and an office team dedicated to a common purpose: helping top companies "get the right people on their bus and in the right seat".

I grew up in Warren, Ohio, in the steel belt of the Midwest where I began my working career as a steel fabricator, welder and junior machinist. After an early career of union positions I moved to California to seek my fortune and get a college education. I completed an AA degree in Quality and a BA in Business Administration from California State University while working as a mechanical inspector, inspection supervisor and eventual Quality Manager for Excellon Automation. I completed certifications in Mechanical Inspection, Quality Auditing and Quality Engineering as an active member of the American Society for Quality. Joining Cummins Engine Company I progressed from Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Supervisor to Director of Corporate Quality Systems and Director of Quality Systems for Cummins' Fuel Systems Business. During my tenure with Cummins I moved back to the Midwest and completed my MBA at Indiana University. After 12 years with Cummins I was recruited to Colorado where I spent 4 years with Woodward as their Global Quality Leader before leaving to open Management Recruiters of Fort Collins.

My Wife Melanie and I have three daughters, Miranda, Mariah and Maggie. We are active in our local church where I serve on the board and enjoy spending time in the beautiful Colorado outdoors.
