Anyone attending? Trying to make it happen this year. I see that there is an optional tour of NIST, which would be cool!

OlDave

I am already registered and we are planning on sending one more person this year also.

steve10kinley

When NIST , is organizing their next tour? Is this for general public  also?

PMEL Whore

I'll try being nicer if you'll try being smarter.

USMCPMEL

Ok thanks for answering. If I could get the boss to approve it as a business trip I probably would but he won't buy me a Mc Chicken sandwich so I do not think I will be attending..

OlDave

So how many of us are planning to attend the Conference this year?

CalLabSolutions

We will be out there..  Sita, Carol and Me.

I will be presenting a paper on MET/CAL programming.  Interchangeable drivers with incorporated Measurement Uncertainties.

I hope to see you all there

We'll be there demo'ing the MudCats software, gorging on crab and drinking yuengling.  Mike, is it your turn to buy?  Pretty excited, after the conference going to meet up with friends from highschool and stay in Belmar, NJ on the shore for a couple days...really looking forward to island beach state park, hope its just as beautiful as I remember as a child. ahh the memories!!!  As far as the NIST tour, I wish they would have done it in the evening, it just too hard to break away from the exhibit hall.

CalLabSolutions

I wonder if I went to this if I could take it off on my taxes? Like actors can take off movies that they go to???

dminesinger

Work related trade shows and conferences are tax detectable. Talk to your tax person.

USMPMEL... I don't know if you can deduct it from your taxes.  I know you can't deduct criminal activities from your taxes and it is criminal what they charge for things at these shows.. $6 dollars for 4oz. of water a couple years a go in FL.
