Description
Please read the entire posting prior to applying.  The ideal candidate must have a mechanical background and prior part inspection experience.

• Perform complex mechanical inspection in all areas of incoming inspection.


• Accept/reject active or passive components as appropriate.


• Work with test setups of high complexity.


• Collect data and implement statistical process control techniques for component and vendor analysis.


• Utilize various on line computer systems for spec. information and general material tracking.


• Generate discrepant material reports.


• Train and instruct employees of lower classification.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years experience (prefer 5-6 years) in all areas of electronic test equipment manufacturing inspection or equivalent. SPC training required. Cannot be color blind. Good vision required due to frequent close work.  Strong mechanical aptitude a must.  Experience in physical/dimensional calibration and/or usage of Phys D hand tools a must.  This position requires lifting of 25lbs. repetitively and occasionally up to 50 lbs.  Previously car mechanic experience a +.
