Responsibilities:     
•Create MET/CAL® (or other) procedures to support M&TE (measuring and test equipment) as directed for use internally or externally.
•Design, develop and test state of the art, automated metrology solutions.
•Conform with explicit procedure development guidelines and contribute in their ongoing refinement.
•Consult with engineering, production, service, and customers concerning cost effective, metrologically sound methods of measurement and automation.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Identifies magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of results to determine reliability of measurement process in quantitative terms.

Redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors.

Develops calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements.

Qualifications:  •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other related science preferred with a minimum of 4-6 years of technical experience in metrology, or equivalent in related education and experience.
•In lieu of the above, military PMEL background with extensive (5+years) multi-discipline experience required and a 4 year degree
•Strong, varied knowledge of M&TE hardware and associated applications
•RF experience up to 26.5 GHz a plus, including direct experience with spectrum/network analyzers, power measurement, signal generators, etc.
•Knowledge of relevant metrology practices, procedures and applicable technical and quality standards
•Previous MET/CAL® experience highly desirable
•Experience with other metrology software such as SureCAL® or Agilent® Test Management Environment (TME) is preferred.
•Applicable test engineering experience in the M&TE industry may be considered
