I had a Keithley 2700 come in for calibration, I took the As-found data with a SureCal procedure and all functions passed. As per the Keithley manual I adjusted the unit manually,  I received no errors code, saved the calibration, and went on to collect the As-left data. While running the SureCal procedure, DCV, ACV, DCI, and ACI passed then Resistance failed. I then manually check the resistance and saw that it was off. After that I attempted to perform the adjustment again, but after several attempts I could not get pass the first step of the adjustment, "Shorted Inputs". I aborted the calibration. Next I started to check other function, to find out that DCV 100mv, 1V and 10V ranges are dead, and that other functions that passed after the adjustment are now failing. I checked our service note and found that other technician had similar problems on this and other 2700s.

Has anyone experienced anything like this with the 2700?
Any and all advice is appreciated.

Thank you

I had a similar problem when calibrating the Keithley 6517A/AF. I would adjust it, but then when I went to check it, it wasn't saving the adjustments. I contacted Keithley, and they explained to me that I wasn't waiting enough time between entering the new adjustment and actually updating the cal dates and so on. The guy told me to wait about five seconds between entering each thing so it has time to register. I was skeptical, but it worked.
So if this sounds like what your experiencing then try to wait 5s. between entering new info i.e. "enter" wait 5 sec Update Dates "enter" wait 5s etc...

If this isn't what you need then definitely get in touch with Keithley as they are pretty helpful.
