Bad news folks.  I got this the other day:

"It has been brought to my attention that you are posting AFMETCAL Newsletters on this website.  I am required to remind you that these Air Force newsletters have a limited distribution for DOD personnel and DOD contractors only.  There are members of your site that don't fit into either of these categories.  Please consider removing all newsletters with distribution statements at the top (which are designated by the AFMETCAL STINFO officer).  Thanks for your understanding."

When I first started loading the newsletters up to the site, I made sure to look and see if there were any limitations to the distribution, like were they FOUO or something like that.  And they weren't.  Apparently it started becoming a limited distribution item with the July 2010 newsletter and I didn't catch it.  So, long story short, I will be taking down the newsletters from July 2010 to present.

Of course, this also means that there will not be any future newsletters available on PMEL Forum from this point forward.

Sorry...
There are only 10 types of people in this world.  Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Well that sucks. Any chance you can post a POC at AFMETCAL that we can email to get added to a distro list? I have passed on several points from the newsletters to our Army folks to look at and would hate to lose this source of information permanently. Thanks Hoopty!

Thanks for posting them while you could, your efforts were appreciated.

Sign up for an account with the Air Force Portal.  They are posted there.  www.my.af.mil

Thanks for the info, will try to check it out this week.

That is a shame they can not let us continue to have the newletter posted here. Maybe we should all sign a electronic petition to get them to let us do it again?

Maybe we can convince them to release the newsletters on GIDEP. The most recent Navy Metrology Bulletins are on GIDEP, why not Air Force?...  :?
Kirk: "Scotty you're confined to quarters." Scotty: "Thank you, Captain! Now I have a chance to catch up on my technical journals!"

I notice these have mixed distributions. July 2012 has a C (US Gov agencies, etc), while April 2012 has an A: approved for public release., distribution unlimited. You should be able to keep all that have Distribution A's on the site.
