Hey Hoopty,

How hard would it be to have a section the forum where guys can post their resumes for companies? Maybe you can set it up where HR reps, etc. can register for a special account to view private information of job seekers. Is this possible? I'm here to make this the BEST PMEL site out there!!!!!! :-D :-D

I could create a new forum and limit access to only HR types, but I'm not sure how to go about determining who would get access and who doesn't.  Also, if it were limited to only them, the folks wanting to post resumes wouldn't be able to.

So, how about a forum with access limited only to registered members only?  That way, the info would be private in the sense that search engines, lurkers, and spambots wouldn't be able to view it, but anybody that has an account and is logged in could view it and post resumes.

I know that this is not the perfect solution, but I think it's the best I can accomplish using the forum format.

Let me know what you think and any suggestions you may have.

Actually, it is an excellent idea.

most job search engines have areas for job hunters, members  and employers...look into one of them.

is a good example.
