The much anticipated Phys-D handbook is now available in the download section.  This is handy reference for you K6 types.

ok so I am slow, lol.  Anyway, thanks for the handbook.  The one I had was from 1971.  You know, back before ICs, lol  We did have electricity though.   I even had lights in the outhouse.

Sorry dallanta, no joke intended.  It was actually a mistake on my part.

There really is a phys-d handbook, much like the regular metrology handbook.  For some reason, the link was pointing to the wrong file.  It's fixed now, so you can check it out.

BTW, there is a new metrology handbook in the works here at the schoolhouse.  I'll have it up on the site as soon as it's finalized.

I've got mine from 1969 on my bench at work.
It's okay to be ignorant, as you can always ask questions, but there is no cure for stupidity.

Yes I know it is a 10 year old topic, but were did this download go? I am very interested in it.  :?

Hoopty

Wow... 8 yrs old anyway. Hard to believe it will be 10 years since opening the doors here at PMEL forum next year...

Anyway, I'm out at the moment, but when I get a chance, I'll take a look around for it and get you a working link.

You PMEL types and your precise number of years, geez!

Hoopty

Warning, it's got a little age to it (circa 2001)...  But, if anyone has a newer copy, I'll be happy to load it up too.  It's in the download section.

I went to PMEL at lawry in 1981 and to phys-D in 1985, back then we can't do anything with out the handbooks. they were excellent, now days I think we can find everything in the internett faster and better explained, but I still keep the handbooks close to me
